FAQ
Your questions, answered
These are the questions our couples actually ask, with the same answers Gerardo gives face to face. Still wondering about something we have not covered? Ask us directly. Fast answers are a point of pride here.
You do not need anything, and I will never pressure you toward it. But here is what I have learned. The photograph holds the split second, the frame you print and pass down. The film holds what the photograph cannot: the sound of the vows, the shake in a father's voice, the way the room erupted. Most of our couples choose both because the still and the moving picture belong together. One story, told two ways, by one team.
You would be in the majority, and no. Making you comfortable is not a nice extra, it is the actual job. Our style is documentary-led, so most of your day is captured quietly, the way it truly unfolds, with no posing at all. Portrait time is relaxed and never rushed, and we guide you through every second of it. Couples keep telling us they almost forgot the cameras were there. That is the goal.
Enough, and only the ones worth keeping. I do not sell you a number, because a number is a promise about quantity, and my promise to you is about quality. Every image in your gallery is chosen by hand and finished with care. Some studios advertise a thousand photographs and fill the gallery with the same frame ten times over. I would rather give you a collection you will treasure than a count you scroll past once. On our call I will show you full galleries from real weddings, so you see exactly what your day will look like.
I do not sell by the hour, so this is really a conversation about your day. Here is the honest mechanic though: the longer we are with you, the more meaningful moments we capture, and the more I have to work with in the edit. That is why the Legacy film runs longer than the Premier film. On our call we will walk your timeline together and I will tell you plainly what fits, even if it is the smaller option.
Sneak peeks come along the way, and they are worth it. Full delivery follows, as swiftly as the craft allows. Photographs arrive on Pic-Time, films on Vidflow, and both live in your private portal, so nothing ever gets lost in an inbox.
Three payments. About a third reserves the date, the second lands 60 days out, the final 30 days out. And a signed contract alone does not hold a date. The retainer does. We ask for a third instead of half because life happens, and we build for real life. The moment the retainer is in, your date is truly yours.
Yes, and easily. Add-ons are added after the initial contract through a simple addendum, invoiced separately. Book the collection that fits today, then add the ceremony film or an engagement session whenever you are ready. No pressure, no penalty.
We do, and gladly. Travel is quoted per destination, and we always travel one or two days early, so a delayed flight never touches your wedding. We are fully insured wherever we go. For celebrations that unfold over several days, the Multi-Day Destination Experience was built exactly for you.
Honestly? Probably not, and I would rather tell you that than take the $500. RAW and S-Log are flat, unpolished files straight off the camera, before color and sound are finished. If what you want is the whole moment, the documentary films are the answer: complete, edited, color graded, with clean audio. Save the money. Let us do the heavy lifting.
At least two of us, and for most collections two to three. You will know your team before the day, and if you would like to meet them ahead of time, we will set up a call. We arrive early, prepared, with backups for the backups, including three separate audio sources on your vows. And because GM is a team, not a single person, you will never be left without coverage.
Then we adapt, calmly. We scout the light, we bring our own, and we plan your portraits around the sun. Documentary shooters are built for the unplanned. Some of the images our couples love most came from the moment the plan changed.
Fully, and wherever we go. We are registered in Florida and our PPA coverage travels with us, so destination venues are covered too. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance, just tell us where to send it. It is a normal part of the process for us.
Life happens, and we would rather protect your story than punish you for real life. It is why we ask for a third instead of half in the first place. Reach out the moment plans change and we will walk through the options together, honestly, like everything else here.
As soon as you are sure. We welcome a limited number of weddings each year and dates go on a first come basis, especially in season. If your date matters to you, the retainer is what protects it.
